Bhandardhara : Hills, Lakes and Temple

Bhandardhara is one of my favorite riding locations, and I have been there in every season. There is no denying the fact that Bhandardhara is surreal during monsoons, I would say summer and winter sun here is equally incredible.

It's not a one day ride at all because there is so much to see in Bhandardhara. I would take out at-least three days for this quiet little town. There are hikes to do, stars to gaze, temples to pay homage to, waterfalls to admire and so much more. To put it point-blank - this is one ride that every rider must do from Bombay.

Distance from Bombay - Almost 200 KMS.

Reaching there - Take NH3 up-to Igatpuri and take the road to Bhandardhara from Ghoti.

Road Conditions - NH3 till Igatpuri is like a dream. The stretch around Ghoti sucks for around 10 Kms. Rest everything is A class.

Do not Miss - Ride to Konkan kada and the Amruteshwar temple. The ride towards Sangamner is also very picturesque and is highly recommended.
